Abstracts

Book of Abstracts

In order to participate to the Conference, the authors have to submit one-page abstracts, for lecture or poster presentations, on topics pertaining to the themes of the conference and the workshops by Sunday, June 15, 2014. Abstracts have to be in LaTeX format, following the sample file sample.tex, and e-mailed to numan2014@amcl.tuc.gr

After acceptance of their abstract (this usually takes a few weeks after the submission) the authors have to prepare their conference lecture or poster presentation and submit, if they wish, their Conference Proceedings paper (4-6 pages long according to the given paper template). The paper submission will initiate a peer review process and the final paper (probably a revised one) will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Moreover, each author can submit a full paper to the Applied Numerical Mathematics Special Issue.

Proceedings

The accepted contributions will be published in the Conference Proceedings and distributed electronically at the conference. Proceedings charges are included in the conference fees. Contributions included in the Proceedings must:

  1. follow the Springer's Proceedings Volume LaTeX2e file class llncs.cls (included in llncs2e.zip or can be downloaded from Springer who has kindly agreed to let us use the typesetting
  2. be 4-6 pages in length
  3. be e-mailed to numan2014@amcl.tuc.gr by Friday, July 11, 2014.

Full papers presented at the Conference may be submitted for publication in a Special Issue of Applied Numerical Mathematics.

Publication policy

All papers submitted to the Conference will be reviewed using a peer-review process. The submission process is as follows:

The following diagram shows the different phases of a paper that is created and submitted by an author.
